Oo-la (noun): That state of awesomeness. It is when your life is balanced and growing in the seven key areas of life - the 7 F's of Oola (fitness, finance, family, field (career), faith, friends and fun).

Friends, you all know I'm about finding calm in the chaos and beauty in the madness. Finding a lesson through any experience in life is a beautiful way to look at what's happening in your life and to help you find your calm. I would never wish rock bottom on anyone. Believe me. But if you happen to find yourself there, or in any form of madness or chaos, look for the lesson. What is this moment teaching you and how can you put the lesson to use?

That's what the OolaSeeker did and what the OolaGuru helped him to do. Now they've made it their mission to share their story with the world; to inspire everyone to live a balanced life in an unbalanced world. They are changing the world with a word: Oola.

If you've never heard of the Oola concept before, no worries. The book provides a fabulous overview of the concept, and beautifully tells it through the perspective of 42 different women.

How? It's quite simple really.

We're all unique. And we all need to embrace our uniqueness -- I tell you that on the regular.

But at our core, there are really the same key areas of life that we all juggle. We also experience the same key blockers that we all battle and the accelerators we all should embrace. They cover all of these areas throughout their book in what's called the seven F's of Oola, the Oola Blockers and the Oola Accelerators.

I will never forget the quote in their first Oola book,

"I believe everyone has something they can teach me to make me better."

That quote has and will continue to carry through with me in all aspects of my life. There's something incredibly beautiful about just stopping and genuinely listening to someone's story; hearing their perspective without clouding it with your own.

What's extremely beautiful about it though, is that is exactly what these 42 incredible women do while they share their light through their stories. Sure you'll relate closer to some than others-- hello reality. We all flock to different tribes. But I can assure you, every single one of them will leave a message for you in some way. They'll teach you something that, if you listen, will make you better.

Oola is engrained in my mind. I've shared the first book with countless individuals and continue to do so. I've seen Dr. Dave (the OolaSeeker)and Dr. Troy (the OolaGuru) speak at various events and I've actively encouraged many of my friends to join in hearing their message. Some when I knew they needed it most.

Keeping the seven key areas of Oola in check isn't something people naturally master. I've been following this practice since I first read their book and heard these gentlemen speak in 2014. And guess what? I can promise you I don't have it mastered. Just like anything, it takes practice and mindful effort.

What I can promise you, is it has helped and continues to help me process areas of my life in an entirely different light; a more focused effort towards a more balanced life.

Oola is not just for women. It's for everyone. But this particular book "Oola for Women" will have Mommas, wives, sisters etc. saying "that's me" or "I needed this" on a much deeper level as they read these beautiful perspectives from 42 inspiring women. And let's not forget the two pretty cool dudes who pull this all together and inspire us all; the Oola Guys.

Do yourself a favor and start living your Oola life.

Step 1: Start by ordering this book at Barnes and Noble or Amazon.

God Bless
